Sharing the Stage
(Book 3)

August 2022


Our final release, Sharing the Stage, teaches the power of positivity when Georgie doesn’t get that coveted part in the school play. When she lends an extra hand, she learns that it takes a full crew to make the show go on and that there are many ways to shine.

Drawn to Friends (Book 1) K-2nd Grade Lesson Plans
  •  Common Core Literature lesson will teach students how to: ask and answer questions about key details in a text, demonstrate understanding of their central message or lesson, and describe characters, settings, and major events in a story using key details. 
     
  •  Common Core Social Studies lesson will introduce the map of The United States of America and key monuments of Washington, D.C. 
  •  Art lesson will allow students to collaborate, use, and experiment with various mediums and techniques to create a classroom mural.

Classroom Confidence (Book 2) K-2nd Grade Lesson Plans
  •  Common Core Literature lesson will teach students how to: ask and answer questions about key details in a text; demonstrate understanding of their central message or lesson; and describe characters, settings, and major events in a story using key details. 
     
  •  Common Core Writing lesson will write informative/explanatory texts in which they name a topic, supply some facts about the topic, and provide some sense of closure; focus on a topic, respond to questions and suggestions from peers, and add details to strengthen writing as needed; and recall information from experiences or gather information from provided sources to answer a question all with guidance from adults.
  •  Affirmation Activity will allow students to learn about affirmations and compliments and the positive effects they have on our self-esteem.
